HOLY GHOST & ST. BERNADETTE ADORATIONS
Beginning October 3, we will be hosting first Friday adorations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Holy Ghost Church.
If you are interested in signing on for a specific time, please contact Marie Savine at mas13009@yahoo.com
What it involves:
- Eucharistic Adoration:
- The Blessed Sacrament is exposed in a monstrance on the altar, making Christ's presence tangible for worship.
- Prayer and Meditation:
- Participants pray, read scripture, meditate, or offer the Rosary.
- Honoring the Sacred Heart:
- This devotion specifically honors the loving heart of Jesus, the source of mercy and salvation.
- Reparation for Sins:
- It is a time to offer penance for sins and to reconcile with God, according to Catholic beliefs.
- Personal Encounter:
- Many participants seek a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus, entrusting their worries and desires to Him.
Why it's done:
- To deepen one's relationship with Christ.
- To express gratitude for His continuous works in our lives.
- To offer reparation for sins and seek God's mercy.
- To feel God's presence, receive guidance, and find peace.
