Bereavement
When experiencing a family death, please contact our parish offices. Arrangements are made in conjunction with the mortuary of choice. Preparations for the funeral liturgy and prayer service at the vigil will be made with the pastor.
An opportunity for a lunch in our parish social halls is available after the funeral and burial. The family is asked to furnish some of the food. Parishioners assist with serving and provide desserts and beverages.

Junior Legion of Mary
Under the direction of President Krissy Weister and Vice President Patty Pogge, the Junior Legion of Mary is a weekly prayer group at St. Bernadette Parish that is open to boys and girls who are in the 4th through 8th grade.
This group meets every Tuesday during the school year after school until 4:30. The group prays the Rosary and learns about Jesus' love for each of us and also performs acts of service.
St. Vincent de Paul Society
The Saint Vincent de Paul Society is dedicated to helping the poor and underprivileged, the sick, the shut-ins, the elderly and the confined. Sensitive to the dignity of all people and with strict confidentiality, they give material and spiritual assistance to those whose needs are brought to their attention by fellow-parishioners.
Contact our parish offices at Holy Ghost or St. Bernadette when experiencing a need. Referrals are made to the St. Vincent de Paul staff, which will make direct contact to the inquiring individual.

Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is the Catholic church's oldest lay apostolate with members around the world. In the spirit of St. Louis Marie de Montfort, the Legion of Mary focuses on doing spiritual works of Mercy such as leading Rosaries and novenas, visiting the sick and elderly in nursing homes and hospitals, and participating in the life of the parish.
Our Blessed Mother calls one and all. The spirit of the Legion of Mary is that of Mary herself.
Under the direction of President Patty Pogge and Vice-President Joe Micek, the Legion meets every Monday in the parish office at 2:30 p.m. to pray the Rosary, read from the Legion handbook, and follow the Legion agenda.
