Congratulations to Margie Furmanski — Winner of the 2026 Spectator's Choice Award!
Chosen by the people and admired by car enthusiasts throughout the day, Margie Furmanski's stunning 1935 Ford Slantback captured the hearts of attendees at our 2026 Holy Ghost Car Show, earning this year's Spectator's Choice Award.
Under the hood is a performance-built Chevrolet 327 stroker V8, delivering the classic sound and appearance of Chevy's legendary small-block while adding extra power and torque for modern cruising. It's a combination of craftsmanship, performance, and timeless style that made it a favorite among our guests.
As an added honor, Margie's award-winning vehicle will be featured on the official 2027 Holy Ghost Car Show T-shirt, giving everyone something to look forward to at next year's event!
Please join us in congratulating Margie on this well-deserved recognition and thank you to everyone who cast their vote for this year's Spectator's Choice Award.

Please join us in congratulating Deacon Al Aulner, who was recognized as the 2026 Holy Ghost Man of the Year at this year's Holy Ghost Car Show.
A parishioner since 1983, Deacon Al and his wife Terri, recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Over the years, he has generously shared his time, talents, and leadership in countless ways — serving as a coordinator for parish events, supporting Alpha, leading Bible studies, volunteering behind the scenes at parish dinners and fundraisers, and helping wherever a need exists.
Over the past year, Deacon Al also stepped into additional responsibilities, assisting with parish operations and helping ensure the day-to-day work of the parish continued smoothly.
Whether leading, organizing, teaching, or simply washing dishes after an event, Deacon Al embodies the spirit of humble service and faithful stewardship that makes our parish family so special.
One of Deacon Al’s favorite sayings reflects the faith and humility with which he approaches life and service: “Our experiences have taught us that while we may make plans for one direction, God often has a greater plan that leads us down a different path.”
Thank you, Deacon Al, for your dedication, servant leadership, and unwavering commitment to the Holy Ghost parish community. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition and on celebrating 20 years of ordained ministry as a deacon!
